Quinshon Judkins CLE RB
Browns' Quinshon Judkins: Arrested in Florida on Saturday
10h agoJudkins was arrested on strike/battery/domestic violence charges in Florida on Saturday morning, Brad Stainbrook of 247Sports.com reports.
Judkins was selected No. 36 overall by Cleveland in April's NFL Draft. He's the only member of the Browns' 2025 Draft class who has not yet signed. Cleveland rookies are slated to report next Friday, July 18, though it's unclear if Judkins will be present given his contract and legal situations.

Wan'Dale Robinson NYG WR
Giants' Wan'Dale Robinson: Wants more downfield opportunities
15h agoRobinson has indicated during the offseason that he wants more looks downfield during the upcoming campaign after playing mostly in the slot last season, Dan Duggan of The Athletic reports.
Robinson got plenty of volume last year with 93 catches on 140 targets, but he averaged just 7.5 yards per catch, the lowest mark among NFL wide receivers. The Kentucky product has expressed his desire to line up outside more often, but the likelihood of that happening is complicated by the presence of Malik Nabers and Darius Slayton as deep threats in the Giants' offense. Duggan notes that Robinson was mostly used in a short-yardage capacity during minicamp this spring even with Nabers not participating, so his wishes may not lead to any changes. That said, it's at least worth noting that New York will be more equipped to throw the ball downfield than in previous campaigns with Russell Wilson, Jameis Winston and Jaxson Dart now making up the team's QB room.

Tre Harris LAC WR
Chargers' Tre Harris: Unsigned as training camp kicks off
17h agoHarris has not yet signed his contract with the Chargers as rookies report to training camp Saturday, Chris Roling of SI.com reports.
Harris is one of roughly 30 rookie second-round picks who has not yet signed a contract with the team that selected him in April's draft due to ongoing disputes over guaranteed money. Only Browns linebacker Carson Schwesinger, selected 33rd overall, and Texans wideout Jayden Higgins, selected 34th overall, have currently signed their rookie deals, and both received fully guaranteed contracts. Harris participated in spring workouts for Los Angeles despite not having inked his deal and reportedly impressed across OTAs and minicamp, but he won't be eligible to report to training camp unless signed. The nature of Harris' contract dispute being a league-wide issue makes it difficult to estimate when a resolution will occur, but as more rookies around the league begin reporting for training camp, pressure for a solution figures to quickly mount.

Calvin Ridley TEN WR
Titans' Calvin Ridley: Expectations rise for 2025
1d agoRidley is reenergized for his second year with the Titans after the team selected Cam Ward with the first overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
Ridley had a successful opening season with the Titans, surpassing 1,000 receiving yards for the third time in his career. That achievement was made more impressive by the fact that he suffered from inconsistent quarterback play from Will Levis and Mason Rudolph, something that the team hopes to have remedied with the selection of Ward. Wyatt noted that Ridley has taken to mentoring the rookie quarterback, developing rapport with him that could translate to more production come the regular season.

Mark Andrews BAL TE
Ravens' Mark Andrews: Heads into contract year
2d agoAs training camp approaches, Andrews is slated to reprise his key role in a tight-end corps that also includes Isaiah Likely and Charlie Kolar, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports.
Jamison Hensley of ESPN noted ahead of the 2025 NFL Draft that there was some speculation the Ravens might consider dealing Andrews, who is entering the final year of a four-year, $56 million contract. However, the team will return its top three tight ends after all, led by Andrews -- who logged a 55/673/11 receiving line (on 69 targets) in 17 regular-season games in 2024 -- and Likely, who recorded a 42/477/6 mark in 16 contests. Considering the continued presence of Likely and the addition of veteran wideout DeAndre Hopkins, Andrews isn't likely to reach the level of volume (113 targets) he enjoyed as recently as 2022, but the 29-year-old maintains fantasy utility nonetheless, even if he's no longer viewed as a top-tier option at his position.

Najee Harris LAC RB
Chargers' Najee Harris: Sustains superficial eye injury
3d agoA statement from Harris' agent Doug Hendrickson on Thursday noted that the running back sustained a superficial eye injury stemming from what was described as a "fireworks mishap" during a Fourth of July event, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Per the statement, Harris, who signed with the Chargers in March, "is fully expected to be ready for the upcoming NFL season." It remains to be seen if the issue will affect Harris' participation in the team's upcoming training camp practices, but when available, the 2021 first-rounder is slated to handle a key role in a Los Angeles backfield that also includes Omarion Hampton, the No. 22 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.

Brady Singer CIN SP
Reds' Brady Singer: Fans nine in no-decision
3h agoSinger did not factor into the decision Saturday, allowing three runs on seven hits and one walk over 6.1 innings against the Rockies. He struck out nine.
Singer worked around plenty of traffic Saturday but limited the damage to three runs before exiting with two outs remaining in the top of the seventh inning. The right-hander has been serviceable, though unspectacular, in his first season with the Reds, carrying a 4.32 ERA and 1.35 WHIP across 100 innings in 19 starts.

Victor Vodnik COL RP
Rockies' Victor Vodnik: Walked off by Cincinnati
3h agoVodnik (3-3) blew the save and took the loss in Saturday's 4-3 loss to Cincinnati. He allowed two runs (one earned) on two hits and one walk while striking out zero over zero innings.
The right-hander was unable to record an out Saturday, allowing a game-tying triple to Will Benson before a fielding error by Orlando Arcia on a Noelvi Marte groundball ended the game. It marked Vodnik's fourth blown save and third loss of the season. While he holds a 2.63 ERA over 27.1 innings in 2025, a 1.43 WHIP and 4.25 FIP point to underlying concerns.
-
Bradley Blalock COL SP
Rockies' Bradley Blalock: Solid in no-decision
3h agoBlalock did not factor into the decision Saturday, allowing one run on six hits and zero walks over 5.2 innings against the Reds. He struck out one.
The right-hander gave up a run in the first inning on an Austin Hays sacrifice fly but settled in from there to turn in a solid outing in Saturday's no-decision. It marked Blalock's first MLB start since being sent down following a rough May 10 appearance in which he surrendered 12 runs over 3.2 innings against the Padres. For the season, he holds a 9.97 ERA and 1.80 WHIP across 21.2 innings in six appearances (four starts) at the big-league level.

Jose Ramirez CLE 3B
Guardians' Jose Ramirez: Swipes three bags
3h agoRamirez went 1-for-3 with one RBI, one run scored and three stolen bases in Saturday's 6-2 win over the White Sox.
Ramirez swiped three bases for the second time this season and the first since May 12 in Saturday's win. While he recorded just one hit in the game, the star third baseman has been locked in at the plate lately, slashing .303/.439/.788 with five homers and 10 RBI over his past nine games after a cold stretch to close June and start July. On the season, he's slashing .297/.367/.510 with 18 home runs, 17 doubles, 29 steals and 48 RBI across 91 games.

Sean Burke CHW SP
White Sox's Sean Burke: Settles for no-decision
4h agoBurke did not factor into the decision Saturday, allowing two runs on three hits and two walks over five innings against the Guardians. He struck out five.
Burke wasn't dominant but did well enough to keep the Guardians in check, giving up just two runs before turning things over to the bullpen. The right-hander now holds a 4.36 ERA and 1.40 WHIP across 97 innings in 19 appearances, including 16 starts, this season.
-
Tanner Bibee CLE SP
Guardians' Tanner Bibee: Earns fifth win
4h agoBibee (5-9) earned the win Saturday, allowing two runs on six hits and two walks over 5.2 innings against the White Sox. He struck out five.
The right-hander picked up his first win since May 22 on Saturday, with his only damage coming on a two-run single by Kyle Teel in the fourth inning. It was an encouraging outing for Bibee, who came into the start with a 5.13 ERA and 1.17 WHIP over 40.1 innings across seven starts since the beginning of June. For the season, he now holds a 4.29 ERA and 1.24 WHIP through 109 innings in 19 starts.

6h agoLove finished with 18 points (7-21 FG, 3-9 3Pt, 1-2 FT), one rebound, one assist and one block across 29 minutes during Saturday's Summer League 96-86 loss against the Grizzlies.

Cissoko got it done on both ends of the floor Saturday, as he was one of two players to crack the 18-point mark while also recording a game-high three steals. The 20-year-old guard played in five regular-season games for Portland during the 2024-25 campaign, averaging 2.0 points, 2.2 rebounds and 1.8 assists across 12 minutes per game.

6h agoWells racked up 23 points (7-16 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 7-8 FT), seven rebounds, three assists and one steal across 27 minutes during Saturday's Summer League 96-86 win against the Trail Blazers.
Wells came on strong in the second half for Memphis, as he went on to lead all scorers with 23 points. This was an impressive bounce-back performance for the Washington State product after he struggled with his shooting in Friday's game against Boston. Despite having his rookie year in Memphis cut short due to season-ending shoulder surgery, Wells made an impression, averaging 10.4 points, 3.4 rebounds and 1.7 assists over 79 regular-season games while shooting 42.5 percent from the field and 35.2 percent from deep.
-

Nikolai Kovalenko SJ RW
Nikolai Kovalenko: Headed back to KHL

Kovalenko spent the 2024-25 campaign with San Jose and Colorado, scoring seven goals and adding 13 assists across 57 regular-season games. The 25-year-old forward spent seven years in the KHL before coming to North America late in 2023-24.
-
Jeff Skinner SJ LW
Sharks' Jeff Skinner: Joining new Pacific squad
2d agoSkinner signed a one-year, $3 million contract to join the Sharks on Friday, Mark Spector of Sportsnet reports.
Skinner is headed to San Jose after posting 16 goals and 13 assists in 72 regular-season games with the Oilers last season, but he spent most of his first postseason as an NHL player as a healthy scratch. The 33-year-old will look to prove he still has some gas left in the tank with the Sharks; at the very least, he will be a good veteran presence with all of the young talent the team has. He'll likely jump right into the top six at the beginning of the season.
-
Michael Milne MIN LW
Wild's Michael Milne: Agrees to one-year contract
2d agoMilne signed a one-year, two-way contract with the Wild on Friday.
Milne had 15 goals, 26 points and 44 PIM across 60 regular-season appearances with AHL Iowa in 2024-25. He also made his NHL debut Nov. 16, recording no points and three hits in 6:34 of ice time. Milne might get another chance to play for Minnesota during the 2025-26 campaign, but he's expected to begin the upcoming season in the minors.

Justin Carbonneau STL RW
Blues' Justin Carbonneau: Staying in juniors
2d agoCarbonneau will be back with QMJHL Blainville-Boisbriand for the 2025-26 campaign, Scott Wheeler of The Athletic reports Friday.
Carbonneau was originally expected to attend Boston College in the fall, but instead will stay in juniors, where he can likely make a quicker transition to the NHL. In his 62 regular-season games for the Armada, the 18-year-old winger racked up 46 goals and 43 helpers before adding three more goals in five postseason tilts. The 2025 19th overall pick will likely take part in training camp this fall if he can put pen to paper on an entry-level deal.
-
Gavin Bayreuther DAL D
Hurricanes' Gavin Bayreuther: Inks two-way deal
2d agoBayreuther agreed to terms on a one-year, two-way contract with Carolina on Friday.
Bayreuther hasn't appeared in an NHL game since 2022-23 when he was with the Blue Jackets. That season, the 31-year-old blueliner notched two goals and 12 helpers in 51 tilts while averaging 15:57 of ice time. It certainly seemed like the New Hampshire native was close to becoming a full-time NHL option, but instead spent last year playing overseas with Lausanne HC, notching five goals and 18 helpers in 52 regular-season contests. At this point, if Bayreuther logs any NHL minutes, it will probably be the result of an injury among the Hurricanes' defensive group.

Ryan Reaves SJ RW
Sharks' Ryan Reaves: Heading west in trade
2d agoReaves was traded to the Sharks from the Maple Leafs on Thursday in exchange for Henry Thrun.
Reaves' role at this stage of his career is to bring grit and leadership. That still has some intangible value, but moving to the Sharks doesn't improve his outlook on offense. Look for Reaves to be in the mix for a fourth-line role early in 2025-26, though he could be bumped to the press box if any prospects are more deserving of ice time.
