Count the Denver Nuggets as the sixth NBA team interested in Kyrie Irving's services.

Just hours after it had been reported that Irving had asked for a trade from the Cleveland Cavaliers, Sam Amico of Amico Hoops reports that the Nuggets are another team that's interested in trading for the 25-year-old point guard:

The Nuggets are rather loaded at the guard positions, as they have three players at point guard and six overall at the one and two positions.

However, they don't have a player anywhere close to Irving's stature. The 35-year-old Jameer Nelson projects as the team's starting point guard, with youngsters Emmanuel Mudiay and Jamal Murray as his backups.

It is unclear what type of package deal the Nuggets would offer the Cavaliers or just how intense their interest really is, but there certainly will not be a shortage of teams in the Irving sweepstakes.
