The Houston Rockets are unveiling a new event before home games and Houston Texans wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins is going to lead the way. Tilman Fertitta, the owner of the NBA franchise, has introduced the "First Shot" at all Houston Rockets home games. A celebrity will fire up a bucket in pre-game for an undisclosed amount for charity.

While some celebrities might end up being more name than game, Hopkins is anything but. At D.W. Daniel High School, he was a four-year starter in basketball and amassed over 1,300 points, 400 rebounds and 600 assists. He was also first-team all-state in basketball for three years.
